Contractors and Site Inspectors are Required to Attend
This workshop will provide the required training for contractors and inspectors to comply with the SPDES General Permit for Stormwater Discharges from Construction Activity (GP-0-10-001). All individuals responsible for installing, constructing, repairing, maintaining or inspecting erosion and sediment control measures or constructing post construction stormwater management practices at SPDES-permitted construction sites are required to attend a DEC-endorsed 4-hour training course every three years. Construction Site Inspectors who are not a CPESC, or licensed as a PE or LA are also required to attend.

What You Will Learn
Learn about why stormwater is a concern. Gather information on the GP-0-10-001 permit and the requirements of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs). Gain knowledge on erosion and sediment control practices and how to perform site inspections. Discover where you can get technical assistance on erosion and sediment control problems.
